Healthy, delicious, easy to make and they make your house smell delicious.
Matcha powder is made from very young, organically grown tea leaves and is packed with antioxidants! Many people use matcha for tea or a latte, but you can also use the powder for baking, in oatmeal or cottage cheese!
Ingredients of matcha waffles:
- 165 gr oat flour
- 300 ml vegetable milk, unsweetened
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 pinches of matcha powder
- 75 gr feta cheese
- 1 avocado
- 100 gr (lactose free) cottage cheese
- 1 tsp hemp seeds
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- salt
Preparation method matcha waffles
- Beat the eggs with the vegetable milk and mix the oat flour with the baking powder, 1 pinch of matcha powder and a pinch of salt;
- Now mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients to form a smooth batter;
- Heat the waffle iron and grease it with some coconut oil;
- Spoon the batter into the waffle iron and after a few minutes check to see if the waffles are cooked;
- Mix the cottage cheese with the other pinch of matcha powder and thinly slice the avocado;
- Serve the waffles with the matcha cottage cheese, avocado, crumbled feta cheese and some seeds such as hemp and chia seeds!
