Date balls with cocoa! It doesn't get any easier than this!

Do you feel like making something delicious today without spending a lot of time on it? Then these date balls with nuts, cocoa and coconut are great!

You can keep this snack in the fridge or freezer and they are ideal to give kids in their lunchbox.

Ingredients for 12 date balls:

  • 150 grams of Medjoul dates
  • 50 gr walnuts
  • 50 gr hazelnuts
  • 3 tbsp. cocoa powder or CocoaMix
  • 3 tbsp coconut rind

How do you make these date balls with cocoa?

  1. Peel the dates and briefly roast the walnuts and hazelnuts in a dry skillet;
  2. Next, first grind the toasted nuts in the food processor and then add the dates and cocoa powder;
  3. Now turn about 12 balls of the sticky mixture;
  4. Roll the balls through the coconut rind and let them harden in the refrigerator for half an hour;
  5. Tasty!
