Possible addition:

- Red fruit
How do you make this delicious chocolate date cake?
- Get all the ingredients ready and pitted the dates.
- Put the dates, cocoa and cinnamon in the food processor.
- Mix it all together, it may get a little sticky. If so, divide it in half for a moment!
- Then mix it all together with the almond flour in the food processor/chopper. A crumbly dough will form.
- Mix the 4 eggs.
- Add the eggs, baking soda and lemon juice to the batter. Mix with a spatula; it does not have to be completely smooth.
- Finely chop the almonds and dark chocolate.
- Mix the almonds and dark chocolate with the batter.
- Divide the batter evenly between your cake pan.
- Place your cake pan in the preheated oven at 170 degrees for 35 minutes. With a smaller mold or muffins, we recommend 15-20 minutes.
Let the cake cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting it. It will still be deliciously creamy inside. Serve with some coconut rind, red fruit if desired, or at a romantic dinner with a scoop of ice cream.
