What is hypnosis for young people?
Hypnotherapy for adolescents. Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy where you dive into the subconscious, where your memories and beliefs are stored. For young people, hypnotherapy can work very nicely because it consists of visualization techniques, among other things. We often see that it is especially easier for young minds to make representations and be open to new insights. Hypnotherapy is often used to change trauma and beliefs stored in the subconscious mind. This is mainly intended to remove the negative effects it has on daily actions. What might you be thinking about? For example, if you notice that you are anxious and stressed before tests and exams, you may be suffering from fear of failure.

What can you expect in a hypnotherapy session?
You can expect to be relaxed, your body and head relaxed. It is similar to the state of being when you meditate, or, for example, when you forget everything around you while exercising and have complete focus on what you are doing. These, too, are forms of hypnosis.
What do you get in a hypnotherapy session?
- Online intake form
- A 90-minute live session at the Brain Balance office in Rotterdam or an online session.
- A 30-minute live evaluation session at the Brain Balance office in Rotterdam or an online session.
- A customized consultation based on your intake form.
- A report following your coaching calls.
During the second consultation we will discuss whether a possible follow-up course is appropriate for you. If you decide to continue, we have packages available for this or you can schedule a separate follow-up consultation.
When is hypnosis right for you?
Hypnotherapy is what for you if you notice that you are troubled by certain situations in your life. That you are not responding as you would like. For example, if you suffer from:

- Depressed and dejected feelings
- Don't feel like anything
- Have little focus
- Afraid of rejection

Schedule an appointment
You can schedule an appointment live at our Rotterdam office or make an online appointment. Be aware that it really is an investment in yourself, where live often comes across better than online (provided of course you live far away). Allow yourself this moment to get everything out of it.
Cancellation is possible up to 7 days before the appointment due to availability. Appointments can be rescheduled up to 72 hours in advance.
* If you are prone to psychosis or have recently had a psychosis, we recommend contacting us first. Also if you suffer from schizophrenia and/or personality disorders. If you are in doubt whether hypnotherapy is for you, we will of course be happy to help you.
Notice! After purchase, you will receive your appointment confirmation within minutes. After 5 p.m. or on weekends it may take a little longer. We will confirm your appointment the next business day.
What happens after scheduling my appointment?
At the time you book a Brain Balance Hypnotherapy Youth session, the process is as follows:
Step 1: Check our calendar to see what time you would like to schedule your Brain Balance Hypnotherapy Youth session with one of our therapists (online/live).
Step 2: After scheduling the appointment, you will receive a confirmation email giving you access to our online client environment.
Step 3: You will receive your online questionnaire with questions about the issue you are struggling with.
Step 4: Live session? You can park for free in front and you will be welcomed at our office.
Online session? You will receive the link to the video session in an email.
Step 5: The hypnotherapy consultation consists of a brief preliminary interview and hypnotherapy session. This takes a total of 1.5 hours.
Step 6: You go home and let the session affect you. Plan the day of the session preferably as little as possible so you have room to process it.
Step 7: After 3-5 weeks you will have an evaluation: where are you, what do you still need and what next steps are appropriate for you? Pathways are available for hypnotherapy.
Step 8: Depending on what you choose, we will see you back at the office at your next appointment.

Neomi
Neomi is a hypnotherapist and in training to become a Brain Balance coach. Her passion for the profession began with her own exploration of becoming the best version of herself. She experienced how much lighter, finer and easier life can be when you can leave behind limiting beliefs and trauma. At Brain Balance, she wants to help you transform your blocks.
