The vitamin is also involved in proper muscle and immune system function and has a beneficial effect on the cell division process. The most important source of vitamin D is undoubtedly sunlight. We can also get vitamin D from food. Our bodies can benefit from vitamin D supplementation. The most active form of vitamin D is vitamin D3. This supplement also contains vitamin K2.
