What is matcha?

Operation Matcha powder is made from whole young, organically grown tea leaves. This is steamed, dried and ground, after which the powder remains. Matcha powder can be used to make tea, but is also delicious in a latte, smoothie, oatmeal or yogurt.

How do you make matcha tea?

1 gram (= 1/2 teaspoon) matcha per cup of tea.

First, put the matcha in a glass.
Pour 1-2 ml cold water over this and beat until all the lumps have disappeared.
Then pour 100 ml of water at a maximum temperature of 80°C over this and whisk again in a W-shape until a foamy layer forms.
